We have designated the last Sunday of each month for world hunger awareness. The next "Fight Hunger" Sunday will be November 30.
You can bring your World Hunger donation (place in the collection plates) and/or your non-perishable food items for our local Interfaith Food Panty (place in the carts in the Narthex) on the last Sunday of each month. World Hunger contributions can be made with checks payable to "Joy Lutheran Church" marked "ELCA World Hunger" in the Memo, using the website online giving page or by scanning the QR code below.
ELCA World Hunger supports 149 programs in the US (several right here in Florida) and in 63 countries.
