EACH MONTH
JOY! designates a special offering on the last Sunday of every month to alleviate world hunger. ELCA World Hunger supports 149 programs in the US (several right here in Florida), and in 63 countries.
In conjunction with the World Hunger Offering and our ongoing Interfaith Food Pantry Collection we have decided to have a
WORLD HUNGER / 2-FER Sunday on the LAST SUNDAY of every month.
You can bring your World Hunger Donation to place in the collection plates along with your non-perishable food items which can be placed on the Interfaith Food Pantry Carts in the Narthex. World Hunger contributions can be made by using the envelope in your set of church envelopes or with a pew envelope with checks made out to Joy Lutheran Church . You can also contribute by scanning the QRC code below.
World Hunger Donations are forwarded to ELCA World Hunger, and the food items are delivered to our local Interfaith Food Panty.
Your generosity will help us fight hunger in Ocala, and world wide.
